Ruth Clark, nationally known author of "Evidence Based Training Methods" and speaker at national and international learning and development conferences, and one of our most requested speakers, is returning to ASTD Sacramento. Ruth will join us for a Thursday evening monthly event, followed by a full-day Friday workshop. Note: separate registration required for Thursday evening event.

The Friday workshop is hosted at the site of ASTD Sacramento's Educational Partner in 2013.
The full-day Friday hands-on workshop will be based on Ruth's book, "E-Learning and the Science of Instruction: Proven Guidelines for Consumers and Designers of Multimedia Learning." The workshop participants will receive a copy of the NEW 3rd Edition of this highly praised publication.
Get updated on the latest research on what does and does not work in e-learning. During the workshop you will receive and use the latest edition of e-Learning and the Science of Instruction to review recent evidence on how best to use visuals, texts, and audio in e-learning. You will have an opportunity to apply updated research on how to create high engagement online examples and design of effective practice interactions.

A Learning and Development Super-Session is a regular monthly meeting followed by a supplemental ½ day to full-day workshop on the same subject.
