OD SIG: Are You Sure? Using Design Thinking to Find the Right Problem

February 27, 2020 • 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
UOP Sacramento Campus - Grand Salon
3200 Fifth Avenue - Sacramento
Dinner Included

We’re starting the year with a custom designed evening workshop featuring Pacific Design Thinking Group and UOP Associate Dean Rod Githens. These OD gurus will be challenging us to think designedly about problem solving.

This OD SIG event will give a brief introduction to design thinking followed by an opportunity to practice using a Problem Statement Template tool. The tool provides you a process for sorting out the right problems to solve as you tackle achieving goals and moving forward initiatives.

In this workshop, you will hear from professional designers, practice individual application, and participate in group discussion. You'll be able to use the content and tools provided the next day in your personal work and in your work with others. Strengthen your confidence that your time and resources will give you the results you need instead of creating another example of good intentions missing the mark!

Prior to attending, we encourage you to read the Harvard Business Review article, Are You Solving the Right Problems?
