What is gamification and why should it be important to you as a talent development professional? Gamification is the application of game elements and digital game design techniques to non-game problems. Use proven techniques from game design to pull your learners in and get them motivated. Kathryn Fortin, Owner of Fortech Solutions will teach you the mechanics of gamification, why it has such tremendous potential, and how to use it effectively.

Kathryn Fortin, founder of Fortech Solutions and eLearning Solutions Architect, graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and obtained certification in Gamification of Learning in 2011. She's worked with various industry training organizations, foreign military entities, universities, private and public companies, utilities, and energy industry players to help develop, upgrade, and expand online courses and webinar training. Kathryn presents on project management and eLearning subjects, including using virtual world platforms, open badges, and gamification of learning at education and industry conferences, and ATD groups throughout the US. Payment Policy: All payments must be received in full prior to attending an event or workshop.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: 
Cancellations made more than five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made three (3) to five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than three (3) calendar days prior to the event and no-shows will not be refunded or credited. Any unpaid balance due will remain according to the above guidelines. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
