Facilitating Action Learning:

An Effective Strategy to Accelerate the Development of High Potential Leaders AND Solve a Major Business Problem

Please join us for an interactive discussion with lots of practical tools and examples as Banks Lowman speaks to his experiences with Action Learning – a methodology that Intel has used for years to achieve dual goals of solving a major business problem while accelerating the development of high-potential leaders.  We will cover when to use this method (and when not to), the key components of a successful program, roles and expectations, plus common pitfalls and how to avoid them.

*Dinner is included in the price of the event.

Banks Lowman is an Organizational Development specialist and HR manager at Intel Corporation. In his 17 years with Intel, Banks’ HR roles have included internal consultant, business partner, talent management, leadership development, compensation and benefits, transformation and change leader.  Prior to Intel, Banks was a Senior HR Consultant with Towers Perrin, based in San Francisco.  In his fresh out of college days, Banks spent 4 years living in China and speaks passable Mandarin Chinese.  Ask him about the newspaper he started up, or what Beijing was like 30 years ago!   Banks completed his Master’s degree at Harvard and his undergraduate at Duke University.  When not at Intel, Banks can usually be found driving his 3 kids to sporting events or working in the garden to find a little peace & quiet.
