Want to engage employees with learning and development in your organization? Do you seek to build a culture that creates champions of learning?

Join us in December at the Sacramento ATD Champions of Learning Awards Dinner to celebrate our members' successes while gaining new ideas and strategies your organization may implement immediately to support a culture of learning!

Featured Keynote Speaker:
Paul Signorelli

Writer-trainer-presenter-consultant Paul Signorelli will, through a highly interactive keynote session, share strategies for building the bridges that nurture learning communities capable of creating an engaged culture of learning and development.

You will also have a chance to network and learn about how other local talent development practitioners championed the cause in 2016 – and gain ideas for how to be that champion in 2017.

By the end of the session, you will:

  • Have at least three strategies for being a champion of learning within your organization
  • Be able to succinctly describe the impact a “champion of learning” has on an organization and those it serves

Paul Signorelli, co-author of Workplace Learning & Leadership with Lori Reed, helps clients and colleagues explore, foster, and document innovations in learning to produce concrete results. As a San Francisco-based writer, trainer, presenter, and consultant, Paul designs and facilitates learning opportunities for clients through helping others become familiar with e-learning, social media, MOOCs, mobile technology, innovations in learning spaces, and community partnerships (onsite and online) to creatively facilitate positive change within organizations.

He has served on advisory boards/expert panels for the New Media Consortium Horizon Project documenting educational technology trends and challenges since 2010; remains active locally (as a member of the Sacramento, Golden Gate, and South Florida chapters), regionally, and nationally in the Association for Talent Development; and facilitates webinars and online courses for the American Library Association and other learning organizations.

His most recent work remains focused on connectivist MOOCs (massive open online courses); building sustainable onsite and online communities and partnerships; and exploring team-building and collaboration through online (augmented-reality) gaming. Signorelli earned an MLIS through the University of North Texas (with an emphasis on online learning) and an M.A. in Arts Administration at Golden Gate University (San Francisco); blogs at http://buildingcreativebridges.wordpress.com; and can be reached at paul@paulsignorelli.com.
